Cute Funny Pictures Biography
An automobile, autocar, motor car or car is a wheeled motor vehicle used for transporting passengers, which also carries its own engine or motor. Most definitions of the term specify that automobiles are designed to run primarily on roads, to have seating for one to eight people, to typically have four wheels, and to be constructed principally for the transport of people rather than goods.[3]
The term motorcar has also been used in the context of electrified rail systems to denote a car which functions as a small locomotive but also provides space for passengers and baggage. These locomotive cars were often used on suburban routes by both interurban and intercity railroad systems.[4]
There are approximately 600 million passenger cars worldwide (roughly one car per eleven people).[5][6] Around the world, there were about 806 million cars and light trucks on the road in 2007; the engines of these burn over a billion cubic meters (260 billion US gallons) of petrol/gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. The numbers are increasing rapidly, especially in China and India
Cars Land is a new themed land at Disney California Adventure Park that is currently under construction. This 12-acre (4.9 ha) land will be built as part of the $1.1 billion expansion plan for Disney California Adventure Park on the former Timon Parking Lot behind the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and A Bug's Land. Cars Land is inspired by the 2006 Disney·Pixar film, Cars. This land will have new dining and shopping venues as well as new attractions. One will be a major "E ticket" attraction called Radiator Springs Racers which will feature the third-generation Test Track technology, an attraction located at Epcot in Walt Disney World. Opening date is June 15, 2012.[1] This new land features points from both Cars and Cars 2.
Cars Land, along with the rest of the Disney California Adventure Park multi-year expansion, was announced on October 17, 2007.[2] However, the first indication of the new land was some concept art published in the Dreaming section of The Walt Disney Company's 2006 Annual Report.[3] On March 7, 2012, it was announced that the area would officially open on June 15, 2012.
